The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration, FMCSA, mandates that all CDL drivers with a Vehicle Gross Weight of 26,001 pounds or more, to register with a Drug and Alcohol Consortium. In addition, 16 passenger busses or larger must also register with a Drug and Alcohol Consortium. DrugFreeUSA will assist your company with the Federal mandates and the related documents found in the Management Information Systems, MIS reports.
This is true even if you're using the transportation for a day.

Consortium Defined:
We register Commercial Trucking Companies, Transportation Companies, and Independent Truck Drivers in a random coomputer pool. This Random Pool of registered Companies and Drivers is called a Consortium. We make sure that your Drug and Alcohol program is compliant with Federal Requirements whether you drive commercial trucks, work as a Human Resource Professional or own the company.

DrugFreeUSA Owner/Operator Program:
Single Independent Drivers/Owners pay only $160.00 annual fee with no
further test costs for the year if you are drawn for random tests.*
You must join in the first three months of a new year ie. January thru March,
to be elligable for this program
Drug Free USA Regular Program
Companies with 1-50 Drivers only pay a $100 annual fee. Random selection tests are $60 for Drug and $35 for Alcohol.
